Objectives:
The purpose and objective of Cash Out Distributions (C.O.D.) Digital Media Plan is to bring a greater awareness of independent artists through the rising progress of the digital music market. We intend to connect with as many independent artists who are looking to begin following their dreams. By working with C.O.D., your music will be shared with the world with the same level of exposure and consumer access to products/recorded materials as recognized labels. To further enhance our client pool, C.O.D. seeks to ensure that their pricing plans for duplication and distribution percentages are more cost effective and in support of providing artists with the greatest revenue/profit margin for their recorded works.
Goal:
To ensure our progress in developing a community/client pool, C.O.D. will utilize social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Linkedin, and additional digital media sources to provide clients/customers with information pertaining to our services. To further enhance our reputation and relationship with prospective clients, C.O.D. will also stream material from selected artists to assist in their promotion and to provide the inquiring consumers with a sample of our "Sound Lab" expertise and capabilities. There will be links within our networking community that will provide testimonials of current artists utilizing C.O.D. services, along with, educational videos/articles from respected individuals within the independent music industry to ensure our goal of supporting the independent music movement. Our partnerships with online stores such as iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, Rhapsody, and many others, will further enhance our engagement of clients. C.O.D. will also utilize email communication as a means to offer news feeds and discount incentives for individuals seeking to work with our agency. Our marketing and public relation department will assist in developing a culture within the company that provides returning and potential clients with an interactive and friendly level of involvement in all their product development/design needs. By holding online forums, and easy accessibility of C.O.D. staff, our company seeks to be the most interactive personally connected distributor within the industry. It will be the mission of our agency to provide all individuals who seek to work with C.O.D. a clear and transparent view of how to succeed within the music industry on your own with great success. In all, the goal of developing a strong Digital Media Plan is to leave a strong impression with prospective clients, making C.O.D. their number one choice for digital distribution.
KPI:
C.O.D.'s Key Performance Indicator (KPI) will be based upon our percentage of returning customers. This will be utilized as means to measure the Operational Excellence of our services. Along with establishing the percentage of returning customers, C.O.D. will also seek to determine its operational excellence by tracking the number of people who visit our site/social networks. As a leader within the digital market, this will be a great tool for determining an influx of customers and assessing C.O.D.'s objective of being the face of digital distribution for artists.
Target:
C.O.D.'s primary target will be focused on connecting with musicians and producers. We hope to provide prospective/returning clients with a great deal of information and incentives that will truly provide them with a desire to develop a relationship with our agency. To determine our ability and performance, C.O.D. will set our target of site visits (Company website, social network pages) at 10,000 hits within the first six months. Our media marketing plan will be integral in connecting with such individuals and offer our analyst data to measure our success. As mentioned earlier, our utilization of recognized social media sites, along with the company web site, will play a very vital role on determining our client pool. Additional information about our services will also be provided ensuring greater success as we connect with local studios across South Florida and the United States. This will again enhance the outcomes of our KPI and further develop an awareness of C.O.D.'s services.
